They’ve been crossing my mind a lot lately, fluttering about as I make my way through the ordinariness of my daily existence: these wandering shapes and crooked lines, these loops and circles, these small words that amount to very little until you place them together row on row. And then they become as large as Life itself. 

“We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

TOTD – Does Your Vote Count? Yes, Yes It Does!

*Disclaimer: I find a great deal of things to be funny, and my sense of humor, I think, covers a broad spectrum. And in that spectrum there lies the sophomoric and the low-brow. I’m sorry, but there are a lot of immature things that make me laugh. So, having said that… I hope this post doesn’t offend anyone. 

I also need your opinion. You cast the vote. Whatever name gets the most votes by the end of the weekend (Sunday night 11:59 p.m., Central Time) will be declared the winner and forever be attached to my life!

Also, I am not responsible if you are offended by the carefully chosen words and/or my mockery of some people. If you are truly offended, I apologize… however, I will add that not only am I sorry that I offended you, but that you also need to not take yourself so seriously and that you should probably smile more. As many of you know, I am close to my niece, Tessa. Due to some cooking commitments that I made for my sister’s church picnic I spent last weekend with her and her family, and therefor got a lot of quality time with my niece.
