I wrote this when I lived in Dallas. And, as always… I apologize if this offends anyone. I seem to say that a lot!
Thought of the Day – That Ain’t Chipotle Enough For Me
by Senator Brett
Occasionally, on the way to work I will pass by the Latino Cultural Center of Dallas, which in it’s simple, rustic orange exterior seems like a fine building in itself… but it always leaves me thinking… “Hey, shouldn’t this building be about seventy-five different bright colors? Shouldn’t there be a mural of the Virgin Mary, the Baby Jesus and St. Christopher somewhere? Shouldn’t this building be wearing a wife beater, some Chinos and a gold necklace? Also, where’s the big window with the name “Garcia” spelled in gaudy letters?!”
On a side note… you should see how well manicured the lawn is at this place! Impeccable!
On another side note… wouldn’t it be funny if this building had been built using nothing but white construction workers? I think so.
Have a great day, people! And, remember…your breakfast tacos didn’t get here by accident! Cherish them! Hug a Mexican today!
